Darrell has a general rural-based law practice with a focus on estate/trust, business,
real estate, agricultural and other general matters. Pursuant to the Illinois Rules of
Professional Conduct, Darrell does not hold himself out as a specialist in any field. Darrell grew up in central Illinois and has been involved with farming since
he was a young chap. Darrell obtained a B.S. in Finance from the College of Commerce
(n/k/a the Geis School of Business) at the University of Illinois-Urbana and then
obtained his M.B.A. and J.D. from the University of Missouri-Kansas City – how about
those Chiefs?! Darrell is a member of several bar associations and volunteers with
local charitable organizations. Darrell has authored numerous published articles.
Darrell is blessed and grateful to be happily married and has two wonderful children.
